The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers on the community.
SASSA are going to be rendering providers including new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a statement, the agency reported it is alarmed with regards to the superior number of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The aim in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some large quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“That is due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no entirely functional office focused on service the area every day. The service issue made for intervention encounters a higher influx of possible beneficiaries, which makes it tricky to the office to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more sources to help the servicing of all shoppers and enhance entry to more info Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
